The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is designed to help families maintain their safety and health by providing support with energy expenses. In addition to energy assistance, the program may offer various services such as food commodities, emergency food, clothing, and limited financial aid based on available funding. There are also family development programs and special housing initiatives. For further information about other community programs, please contact your local office. IDA, or Individual Development Accounts, are matched savings accounts intended for specific asset goals; for more details, you can speak with an account manager. Available languages include English.
