The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides tailored services for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family supports, while also sharing details about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services for infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months), assisting families in fostering their children's development. This program employs multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in helping children enhance their communication, mobility, cognitive skills, eating habits, and overall participation in family activities. Additionally, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers support for adults with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination at the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which offers services in English, with interpreter services available upon request. For intake, individuals are encouraged to call for an evaluation.
