About this resource
RISE UP - Teen & Child Crisis Center of East Idaho offers a completely free and voluntary service for youth aged 12-17, with plans to expand to ages 5-17. Unlike BHC and other hospitalization options, we function as a stabilization, assessment, and referral center rather than a treatment facility. This center, located in Idaho Falls, is the first of its kind in Idaho, dedicated to ensuring immediate safety, conducting assessments, providing referrals, and coordinating services for Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders. Admission criteria include a 'crisis' as defined by families, schools, individuals, therapists, doctors, law enforcement, first responders, loved ones, or community members.
