About this resource
The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates and investigates reports of child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. When needed, it offers suitable services to address family requirements. This Program assesses and determines the validity of reported child abuse incidents, which may involve evaluations of family members and the affected child. It assists in obtaining counseling for victims, parents, abusers, and others involved. There are no fees for child protective services. Additionally, the program licenses foster homes and offers some adoption services, and it is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible as needed.
