The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a range of services tailored to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers therapeutic services, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to aid families in helping their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) achieve their full potential. This program is centered around multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in facilitating children's communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and overall participation in family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities by providing court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which offers services in English with interpreter access available.
