The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering a variety of services, programs, and research that contribute to the state's growth. Available programs include: 4-H, Weed Control, Home Economics, Garden and Landscape Management, Youth at Risk initiatives, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture, First Aid and Safety with a focus on small business operations, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills, Pesticide Applicator Training, and Food Preservation.
