About this resource
The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. When appropriate, it offers services aimed at addressing family needs. This program investigates and determines the validity of reported child abuse incidents, which may involve assessments of family members and the affected child. It facilitates counseling for victims, parents, offenders, and others involved. Child protective services are provided at no cost. It is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services and services are available in English, with interpreters accessible.
