This service facilitates the online registration for first-time vehicle owners, whether registering a brand new vehicle or an out-of-state car in Nevada.

Application Guidelines: It is important to begin the online application only if you fulfill the necessary criteria and are prepared to pay and collect your license plates in person.

Who can use this

Eligibility includes vehicles purchased or leased from out-of-state dealers, those acquired from private parties or family members, new residents with existing vehicles, customers seeking a duplicate Nevada title, and individuals without a lien sales certificate.

Documents you may need

Vehicle Purchased from an Out-of-State Dealer You will need to provide the purchase or sales agreement. Vehicle Purchased from a Private Party or Gifted The title must be in the new owner's name OR a Turbo Title application needs to be completed before proceeding with Rapid Registration. Vehicle Purchased from a Private Party with a Lien Holder You will need to provide the security agreement from the lien holder. New Resident You may either use your valid out-of-state registration or a title in your name.
