The licenses and permits available include marriage licenses, hunting/fishing/trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler/solicitor licenses, and racing/wagering licenses. Additional offerings encompass the processing of passport applications and the upkeep of town records and archives. Property taxes for residents of the Town of New Scotland are prepared and collected from January until April 30th, after which all related paperwork is forwarded to the Albany County Treasurer's Office.
