About this resource
The program offers support to families who are looking after a relative with a developmental disability at home by helping the caregiver, which in turn strengthens family stability. Its objectives include preserving family unity, avoiding unnecessary or unsuitable out-of-home placements, improving parenting abilities, maximizing the potential of the family member with a developmental disability, and enhancing overall quality of life.
