The Site-based Prevocational Training emphasizes the abilities individuals possess rather than their limitations, taking place at JM Murray's manufacturing warehouse where we help set long-term vocational objectives tailored to each person's distinct skills, strengths, and interests. Our Community-based Prevocational Training connects participants with local businesses to gain work experience, supported by JM staff through assessments and training. The Employment Connection offers comprehensive services to individuals with disabilities, facilitating job exploration, readiness training, and continuous employment support for those with developmental and physical challenges. The ACE (Assisted Competitive Employment) program provides vocational rehabilitation and mental health assistance to participants aged 18 and older with mental health diagnoses, focusing on enhancing self-confidence, skills, and reliability through group and individual activities. The Transitional Employment Placement (TEP) program allows participants 18 and older with mental health diagnoses to explore various job opportunities via short-term placements and volunteering, aimed at achieving competitive employment. Lastly, ACCES-VR (Vocational Rehabilitation) supports individuals with disabilities in securing and maintaining employment while promoting independent living, with all services funded by the New York State Department of Education. The intake process involves an online application through ACCES VR.
