Child Care: Here We Grow is located at 16 Miller St., directly across from Guthrie Hospital, and is open Monday to Friday, year-round, from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, catering to children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. For school-aged children, before and after school care is provided at Randall and Smith Elementary schools, as well as Homer Intermediate and Elementary Schools, with afterschool services available only at Appleby and McGraw elementary schools. Full-day programs are offered at the YWCA, located at 14 Clayton Avenue, for children aged 5 to 12 years. For inquiries, contact Jami Bistocchi at 607-753-9651. During the summer, a camp is available for children aged 5-12, running until the end of August. Enrollment packets can be obtained at Here We Grow and the YWCA, but note that space is limited and not guaranteed. Fees include a registration charge and a sibling discount for families with multiple children enrolled.
