Recovery Center - Stmotw
Community Resource
About this resource
The center provides an extensive array of recovery-oriented services aimed at assisting both individuals and families. It features support groups, such as peer-led recovery sessions, and offers community education classes focused on recovery. Staff members deliver case management services to help participants navigate healthcare, housing, social services, and access to treatment, while also addressing insurance or administrative challenges and planning for aftercare. Recovery coaching connects individuals with trained peer recovery coaches who leverage their personal experiences to aid in goal setting, life skills enhancement, and resource connections, while also collaborating with families to fortify support systems. The center prioritizes harm reduction by meeting individuals at their current stage, offering syringe exchange programs, safe use supplies, naloxone, and compassionate care that mitigates risks related to substance use and fosters overall health and safety. Additionally, it runs a Drop-In Center open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, where community members can find coffee, food, clothing donations, computers, laundry services, and other vital support in a friendly atmosphere.
Intake Procedure: Individuals can walk in or call for additional information.
Fees: All services are provided at no cost, although some may bill Medicaid.
