This service offers an extensive array of licensing, record-keeping, and informational support for the residents of the Town of Athens. Available licenses and permits encompass marriage licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, as well as birth and death certificates. Additional services include handling passport applications and maintaining local records and archives. The office also prepares and collects property taxes for Athens residents from January until July 31st, after which all documents are forwarded to the Greene County Treasurer's Office.
