The commissioners office offers a wide range of services, including Youth Outreach & Violence Prevention, and the Pathways to Peace initiative at the Rochester Public Market. The Bureau of Recreation also provides services such as R-Centers, field trips, team sports, martial arts, water activities, arts and crafts, child care for school-aged children, seasonal day camps, homework help, part-time job opportunities, summer camp information, and the Recreation on the Move program, which brings recreational activities to underserved neighborhoods via a mobile vehicle.
