Offers a range of services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities: School Program: Delivers full-day special education tailored to children aged 5 to 22, following each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP). Community Classrooms: These environments enable students aged 18 to 22 to acquire job readiness skills in a classroom setting and apply them through internships at local businesses. Work-Based Learning: This includes a series of educational experiences starting from internal assessments and training in our PAES lab to community-based activities. Supported Employment (SEMP): Staff support individuals aged 18 and older in securing and maintaining competitive jobs, collaborating with coworkers without disabilities while earning at least minimum wage. Collaborates with local businesses to match skilled and diverse workers with jobs that fulfill the employers' specific workforce requirements. Community-Based Prevocational Services: These habilitation services help individuals develop job readiness skills in the most integrated environment suitable for their needs, encompassing learning and work experiences, including non-specific volunteer work that enhances their chances of obtaining paid employment in the community. Special Touch Bakery: Provides adults with developmental disabilities the chance to learn food production and service skills at their own pace while receiving a weekly paycheck. Partners With Industry (PWI): Trains individuals to achieve high production and quality standards through subcontract work such as sorting, assembly, fulfillment, shrink wrapping, bulk mailings, and other labor-intensive tasks. Respite/Recreation: An extracurricular program that enables adults and students enrolled in the Home and Community Based Waiver Program through OPWDD to expand their recreational and social skills. Health Center (Article 16 Clinic): Offers comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services (PT, OT, Counseling, and Speech Services) to both student and adult populations, including state-required health screenings (vision, hearing, and scoliosis), emergency first aid, medication administration, and illness assessments. Day Habilitation: Participants engage in various activities both on campus and within the community, with Front Line Supervisors and Direct Support Professionals assisting them in developing skills for greater independence. Holy Childhood's Day Habilitation Program includes several options to cater to different skill sets, such as the Senior Day Habilitation Program, Transitional Day Habilitation Program, and Day Habilitation Without Walls Program.
