Monroe County Veterans Service Agency

Supports veterans in submitting claims for compensation and pension benefits. Works with local nursing homes to guarantee that veteran residents receive the benefits they are entitled to, including those in Assisted Living facilities. Handles claims for memorial benefits and the acquisition of discharge papers. Offers advocacy and counseling services for veterans, their dependents, or survivors, and conducts presentations for veteran organizations, local businesses, public events, and area colleges.
