About this resource
The program provides a range of services such as registration, assessment, personalized service strategies, tutoring, study skills development, alternative schooling, summer job placements, work experiences, internships, job shadowing, occupational skills training, leadership development, community service initiatives, peer-centered activities, supportive services, adult mentoring, follow-up assistance, and counseling for drug and alcohol issues. Additional locations are available in Long Beach, Hicksville, and Freeport.
Intake Procedure: Clients are encouraged to call for more information.
Fees: There are no charges for services.
Who can use this
- Individuals aged 14 to 24 from low-income backgrounds who may face challenges such as low literacy, school dropout status, homelessness, or parenting responsibilities.
