About this resource
This program offers Job Placement and Vocational Training for adults with disabilities and out-of-school youth who are either entering the job market for the first time or wishing to shift their career paths. Services include Job placement, Job readiness, Career Awareness, Vocational Training, and Work experience Training. Funding is available through State Education Programs, Local WIAO Programs, and self-pay options, with qualification required for agency payment. To enroll, individuals may be referred by agencies such as ACCES/VR, The Town of Oyster Bay, The Town of Hempstead, The Department of Veterans Affairs, or a school district, or they can reach out directly to the Career & Employment Center office for more information.
