The program provides various complimentary services such as a Homelessness Prevention Network, Case Management/Advocacy, Benefits Counseling, Employment Services, Landlord/Tenant Mediation, Community Referrals, and financial support for those struggling with rental and utility debts who meet the criteria.
Intake Process: Interested individuals should reach out via phone or email to check their eligibility for assistance. Messages can be left, and staff will return calls or emails promptly.
Cost: No fees are associated.
Who can use this
- Project Anchor continues to offer assistance with rent and utility arrears to qualifying families in Suffolk County at risk of homelessness, but intake is currently on hold unless clients are involved in landlord-tenant court proceedings or have an active Sheriff's notice.
