The town offers numerous licensing, records, and informational services to its residents. Available licenses and permits encompass marriage licenses, hunting/fishing/trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler/solicitor licenses, and racing/wagering licenses. Additional services include the processing of passport applications and the upkeep of town records and archives. Property taxes are prepared and collected for residents of the Town of Nassau from January until March 31st, after which all documentation is forwarded to the Rensselaer County Treasurer's Office.
