About this resource

This program is responsible for managing Protective Services for Adults (PSA) and additional adult services delivered by local social service departments, particularly concerning Family-Type Homes for Adults (FTHA). It provides guidance to local adult services staff, carries out informal case evaluations, engages in audits, assesses consolidated service plans, investigates complaints, and creates public education, training, and collaborative initiatives.
