About this resource
This program is designed for adults with disabilities and includes standardized assessments, specialized evaluations, work site assessments, community-based evaluations, and work readiness training. Prevocational services are available through community initiatives for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the Jawonio Thrift Shop in Yonkers, as well as the Connections/Pre-Employment Program for those facing behavioral health challenges in Yonkers. Additionally, Jawonio offers grant-funded green cleaning training programs in Rockland and Westchester counties.

- Adults aged 21 and older with intellectual/developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, behavioral health issues, and special needs.
