About this resource
The Rockland County Youth Employment Program (YEP) is a year-round initiative focused on preparing youth for the workforce by providing job training and placement opportunities for those aged 14 to 21. This program fosters collaborations with local private companies, non-profits, and government agencies to enhance youth workforce development in the county while also offering labor cost benefits to employers involved. Funded by Rockland County and the Department of Social Services via the Federal Summer Youth Employment Program, YEP includes two main components: T.E.E.N. Works (Teen Employment Education Network), which is a 13-week program held after school that delivers workforce preparation training and hands-on activities for teens and young adults aged 14 to 21.
