About this resource
This initiative assists high school students with disabilities who are enrolled in Schenectady County school districts in securing and participating in paid, community-based employment during the summer of their Junior year. The services offered include job coaching and guidance on job responsibilities, workplace policies, and expectations in various business settings throughout Schenectady County. To qualify, students must be part of their high school's special education program.

- Eligible participants are High School Juniors enrolled in a Schenectady County school district, diagnosed with a developmental disability, mental illness, or learning disability, and must have approval from VESID.
