About this resource
The town offers a diverse array of licensing, record management, and informational services to its residents. Available licenses and permits encompass marriage licenses, hunting/fishing/trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler/solicitor licenses, and racing/wagering licenses. Additionally, the office is responsible for maintaining town records and archives. It also prepares and collects property taxes from residents of the Town of Gouverneur between January and May 31st, after which all documentation is forwarded to the St. Lawrence County Treasurer's Office.
