About this resource
This initiative supports very low and low-income families in obtaining housing that is in good condition by providing direct payments to landlords on behalf of families or individuals to help cover part of their rent. Emergency assistance is not available. Additionally, project-based rental assistance can be accessed at locations such as Hawthorne Court in Elmira, Knoxville Senior Housing in Corning, Seneca Manor in Hornell, Lake Street Senior Apartments in Hammondsport, and Village Square in Painted Post.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.

- Applicants must live in Chemung, Schuyler, or Steuben County.
