About this resource
This initiative serves as a local option for counties that need to place children in environments offering a higher level of care than typical county-level foster homes. Therapeutic foster homes are designed to support children with psychological, social, emotional, and behavioral health needs, fostering their ability to thrive in close family relationships. These homes cater to children whose unique requirements demand more specialized or therapeutic services. Additionally, the program recruits and trains individuals and families to become foster parents for children requiring out-of-home care.

Who can use this
