About this resource
This initiative offers a school-based program designed to help young individuals between 14 and 17 years old achieve the National Work Readiness Credential while engaging in an eight-week paid internship. It includes workshops focused on wellness, job readiness, and strategies for finding employment. The program is conducted in high schools within the South Country, Wyandanch, Brentwood, and Central Islip School Districts, with varying after-school hours depending on the district.
