About this resource
This initiative is designed to help young individuals between the ages of 14 and 17 achieve the National Work Readiness Credential while also engaging in an eight-week paid internship. It includes workshops focused on wellness, job readiness, and strategies for job searching. The program is conducted in high schools within the South Country, Wyandanch, Brentwood, and Central Islip School Districts, with after-school hours varying by district.
