This initiative aids families and individuals in the Town of Islip facing homelessness or at risk of it. It provides support for rent and utility arrears, negotiations with landlords, legal assistance, housing relocation, continuous case management, and referrals to other community services.
Intake Procedure: Hours of operation are adaptable to client needs.
Fees: There are no associated fees.
Who can use this
- Residents of the Town of Islip must show the ability to achieve self-sufficiency after receiving temporary assistance and must have explored all other funding avenues before applying for HPRP.
