Residents living outside the City of Ithaca can utilize services from the Department of Social Services (DSS), which include Medicaid, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, previously known as Food Stamps), emergency assistance, and daycare services. These services are available in Trumansburg on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays from 1-4:30 PM, and on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 2:30-4:30 PM at the Ulysses Town Hall, located at 10 Elm Street, Trumansburg. Walk-ins are welcome.
