Greater Ithaca Activities Center (Giac)

As of 11/14/2022, the Robin Fund has ceased accepting applications through email. The preferred methods for submission are by mail or directly dropping off applications at their office, as their fax machine has been malfunctioning. This fund was created by friends and family of Robin Whittlesey to support the Ithaca community in her honor. It assists individuals, families, and children facing difficulties or having special needs, such as emergency rent or mortgage assistance, family crises, special clothing requirements, support for attending summer programs or events, and educational needs. Applicants should be aware that the Robin Fund has limited resources. Applications can be obtained from the front office staff at GIAC, and applicants can expect to receive feedback from the committee within seven days after submission. Documentation related to the request, such as eviction or shut-off notices, should be included with the application.
