About this resource
This initiative offers assistance to fathers who are nearing release from incarceration, are ex-offenders, or are on probation, helping them to become better fathers and providers for their families. The program assesses the individual challenges faced by each father and connects them to community resources. Participants engage in a 12-session workshop where they will learn and refine essential parenting skills, enhance communication, manage conflict, control anger, and receive training in financial literacy, job readiness, resume writing, interviewing techniques, and employment support to boost their economic stability.

Who can use this
- Fathers aged 18 and above who are about to be released or have recently been released from the Westchester County Department of Corrections; those currently on probation or parole, or who have interacted with the Criminal Justice System in New York State.
