About this resource
This initiative offers assistance to fathers who are nearing their release from jail, are former offenders, or are currently on probation, with the goal of becoming better parents and providers for their families. The program assesses the specific challenges faced by each father and connects them to relevant community resources. Participants engage in a 12-session workshop designed to teach, practice, and enhance various parenting skills, as well as communication, conflict resolution, anger management, and financial literacy. Additionally, the program covers pre-employment skills, resume writing, interview techniques, and offers employment support to boost their economic stability.

Who can use this
- Fathers aged 18 and above who are about to be released or have recently been released from the Westchester County Department of Corrections, as well as those currently on probation or parole or who have engaged with the Criminal Justice System in New York State.
