About this resource
The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) provides support to families who are employed, enrolled in educational programs, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to help with child care costs, which can include registration fees.
Application Process: Interested parties can apply through online platforms, via telephone, or by visiting a local ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office in person.
Costs: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, referred to as a copayment (copay). The copay amount varies based on the size of the family and their income level.
