About this resource
WIC is a public health initiative focused on improving health outcomes and shaping lifelong nutrition and health practices for women, infants, and children. WIC operates under Clackamas County Access to Preventive Health (APH), which aims to eliminate barriers to care and enhance immunization rates, reproductive health, and the health and nutrition of mothers and children.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four criteria: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not necessary) -Be pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding, or have a child under 5 years old; fathers, foster parents, and guardians can apply for eligible children -Have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL); those receiving OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically considered income-eligible -Demonstrate a nutritional need or risk.
