About this resource
The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) offers support to families who are either working, pursuing education, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to help cover child care expenses, including registration fees.
Application Process: You can apply online, via phone, or by visiting a local ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office.
Costs: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of their child care expenses, known as a copayment (copay). The copay amount is determined by the family's size and income.
