About this resource
This program delivers in-home care services that encompass housekeeping, personal assistance, laundry, shopping, transportation, and meal preparation and delivery. It also provides adult day services, which are community-based programs that offer support for part of the day. Registered nurse services are available for one-time or intermittent assessments, service planning, medication monitoring, and provider training and education. Additionally, case management and options counseling are offered to help individuals make informed decisions about services based on their strengths, needs, and preferences. The number of service hours per individual can vary based on assessed needs and funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours each month. Importantly, benefits are not subject to estate recovery.
