About this resource

The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) provides support to families who are employed, enrolled in educational programs, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to help with child care costs, including registration fees.

Application Process: You can apply online, via phone, or in person at a nearby ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office.

Costs: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, known as a copayment (copay). The copay amount is determined by the family's size and income.
