Community Solutions Of Central Oregon

Community Resource

Serves: Bend, Deschutes County

About this resource

Community mediation provides support to individuals, businesses, neighbors, and families facing conflicts or disagreements. Mediators facilitate understanding, encourage solution exploration, and help resolve issues. Conflicts may include neighbor disputes, homeowner association matters, workplace issues, consumer/business disagreements, family-related challenges such as separation or children's matters, financial disputes, landlord/tenant conflicts, land use disagreements, and more. The mediation process is voluntary, collaborative, and confidential, conducted by one or two neutral mediators who do not take sides, offer legal advice, or enforce outcomes. Services include mediation for Deschutes County Justice Court Small Claims Court, allowing litigants to settle disputes through mediation prior to a trial. Additionally, the program offers periodic training for mediators, workshops, and facilitation services for businesses, government entities, and nonprofit organizations.

Intake Procedure: Individuals can walk in, call, or visit the website for further details.

Fees: Most services are priced at $200, with a sliding scale available.
