About this resource
WIC is a public health initiative aimed at enhancing health outcomes and shaping lifelong nutrition and health practices for women, infants, and children. The program includes nutrition education classes, breastfeeding support, monthly allowances for additional nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four requirements: reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not a prerequisite), be pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding, or have a child under 5 years old. Fathers, foster parents, and other guardians may apply for a qualifying child. They must also meet income guidelines.

- Proof of ID for parent/guardian and child, proof of address, and proof of income
