Fees: Families must cover a portion of the mortgage closing costs, with the first mortgage obtained through an affordable housing third-party lender.
Who can use this
- Families living in inadequate housing must meet the following criteria: -Adhere to income guidelines -Commit to 400 hours of sweat equity through volunteering in home construction, assisting at the ReStore in La Pine, or participating in other Habitat-approved activities -Be U.S. citizens or permanent residents -Not have owned a home in the last 3 years -Possess the ability to make mortgage payments.
