Community Resource
About this resource
This organization runs an animal shelter focused on the care of homeless, abandoned, or neglected animals. They provide a pet food pantry when supplies permit and welcome pet food donations. The shelter keeps lost-and-found pet reports for Douglas County and guarantees that all adoptable cats and dogs are spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. Pets can only be surrendered in emergencies and as space allows, and they offer low-cost spay and neuter surgeries on a limited basis.
Intake Procedure: For more information, you can call, email, walk in, or visit their website.
Travel/Location: Located north of Roseburg off Interstate 5 on Old Del Rio Road.
Fees: There are fees associated with adoption, returning stray animals to their owners, and spay/neuter services. These fees are negotiable and may be waived for those who cannot afford them.
