About this resource
Head Start services aim to prepare children for school by fostering their social and cognitive growth in a classroom environment, alongside providing educational, health, nutritional, social, and additional services for both children and their families. Emphasis is placed on engaging parents, offering them support through goal setting, parenting classes, and networking opportunities.

Who can use this
- Families with children aged 3-5 can qualify, particularly those with incomes at or below 100% FPL. Additionally, children in foster care, homeless children, and those from families receiving public assistance are eligible regardless of income, while families with higher incomes and specific needs may also qualify, although those with greater needs are given priority.
