About this resource
This program provides a temporary housing intervention for low-income veterans and their families who are either homeless or at high risk of becoming homeless. Eligible veterans and their families can receive housing support through case management. If qualified, they may benefit from services such as move-in or rental assistance, eviction prevention, support for benefits, employment and education resources, legal assistance regarding housing issues, and other costs that can help achieve stable housing. The availability of these services is contingent on funding.

Fees: There are no fees associated.
Who can use this
- To qualify, veterans and their families must be homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness, have an income at or below 50% of the Area Median Income, and possess a discharge status other than 'Dishonorable.' They must also agree to collaborate with a caseworker and may need to be free from alcohol and drugs, with the veteran present in the household.
Documents you may need
- DD214, proof of income, photo ID, Social Security card, latest bank statement, and certificate of homelessness through HUD/VASH or another program (if applicable)
