About this resource
This public health initiative seeks to enhance health outcomes and shape lifelong nutrition and health practices for women, infants, and children. It offers nutrition education classes, breastfeeding assistance, monthly benefits for supplemental nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four requirements: reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not necessary), be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman, or an infant or child under 5 years old (fathers, foster parents, and other guardians can apply for eligible children), have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), with automatic eligibility for families receiving OHP, SNAP, or TANF, and demonstrate a nutritional risk assessed during the appointment.
