About this resource

The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) provides support for families who are employed, attending school, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to help with child care expenses, including registration fees.

Application Process: You can apply online, via phone, or in person at a nearby ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office.

Costs: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, referred to as a copayment (copay). The copayment amount varies based on family size and income.
