About this resource
Migrant and Seasonal Head Start programs deliver a range of services such as education, health care, nutrition, social services, and developmental screenings specifically for migrant children whose parents work in agriculture. This initiative focuses on fostering preschoolers' language, reading, and math abilities essential for their academic success, while also promoting parental engagement. Additional support for parents and expectant mothers includes parenting workshops, family assistance, and opportunities for leadership. There may also be wrap-around child care options available.
