About this resource

The initiative assists those impacted by wildfires, focusing on helping fire survivors transition into affordable and permanent housing. The housing case management services are customized for each household and may include: advocating for fire-affected families to locate stable, safe, and affordable housing; assessing both short- and long-term housing requirements; creating personalized housing stability plans; assisting participants in their housing searches; offering support with rent and utility payments; providing homebuyer counseling; educating homeowners and tenants; and collaborating with local partner organizations to deliver comprehensive assistance, including disaster relief and mental health services.
